Excerpt

Fohenagh drew the 1959 county final with Castlegar Castlegar led by ten points at half-time. 'Miraculously', Fohenagh won 3-9 to 4-5 and Marty Glynn lifted the County Senior Cup for the first time ever. The party went on and on in the Old School Hall, turned into a bar by Ahascragh supporters.
