Fifty minutes, no score
On 15 July 1890 Fohenagh, captained by Tim Glynn, played Gurteen at a Gaelic tournament in a field lent by the Cormican family[1]. After fifty minutes of "spirited stopping and blocking" the teams were called off, and the score was nothing all[1]. The same chapter records a Caltra football tournament in which Fohenagh beat Kilconnell by two goals and a point to a goal, and a day at Glentane which went the other way by a goal and three points to nil[1].
