Back in, with a note from the priest

Fohenagh

In 1907 the club elected its parish priest, Fr Harney, as president, and on 21 January 1907 Fohenagh was re-affiliated to the County Board[1]. Fr Harney wrote that the Fohenagh players were "respectable men", guilty of no dishonourable conduct[1]. Ahascragh objected strongly. The club was taken back all the same[1]. A few weeks later the papers carried a line from the Fohena Hurling Club, their spelling, that practice would start the next Sunday[1].
