Declared for Galway when Roscommon selected him, 1948
Summary
In 1948 Roscommon selected John Glynn and he declared for Galway. Roscommon beat Galway in the Connacht football final. A History of Fohenagh says he was picked to play football for counties across Connacht. After the championship game at Athenry was left unfinished in 1942, the County Board let him keep playing football with Kilconnell and Calla.
