Summary
A History of Fohenagh names N. Farragher, in his role as an official, with the Fohenagh senior champions of 1959 and of 1960, and with the cup when it was retained[1]. He also served as a club officer and as chairman of the Galway County Board[1]. N. Farragher was a regular East Board referee, taking charge of a minor hurling final at Ballinasloe in 1969 (Connacht Tribune, 15 August 1969, p.36)[2]. In 1973 the Fohenagh club presented him with a jersey as one of the referees who had taken charge of a final that year (Connacht Tribune, 12 January 1973, p.13)[2]. He represented Fohenagh after the abandoned junior hurling game against Tynagh at Kiltormer (Tuam Herald, 6 October 1956)[3].
