Summary
The Connacht Tribune of 2 November 1984 credited "heroic defending by Sean Moclair" as St. Thomas held out for a win in the Under-12 final at Loughrea[1]. Seán Moclair was a Connacht under-16 hurling champion with Fohenagh in 1989, the Connacht Tribune of 27 October 1989 naming Sean Mockler on the side that beat St Dominics 2-12 to 0-6 at Ballyforan[2]. On 14 September 1990 the line against Annaghdown prints S. Mockler as Fohenagh won 3-7 to 0-8 at Loughrea (Connacht Tribune, 14 September 1990)[3]. The Connacht Tribune of 7 December 1990 names Sean Moclair in the back row of the Fohenagh Minor champions[4]. A History of Fohenagh pictures Sean Moclair with the Fohenagh underage team of 1990[5]. The Connacht Tribune of 21 June 1996 names him in the side that beat Ahascragh 1-9 to 1-7 in the county Junior championship, the report printing Sean Mockler[6].
