Did you know Fohenagh once ran away with the ball?

In the 1957 county junior football final, Naomh Feichín of Clifden led Fohenagh 2-2 to 0-2 at an advanced stage[1]. A Fohenagh player ran off with the only ball available, and the referee called the game off[1]. Naomh Feichín won the replay 2-7 to 1-1[1].
