Summary

Niall Devine was named on the Fohenagh side that beat Cappataggle 5-15 to 0-6 to win the minor hurling final in 1996 (Connacht Tribune, 13 September 1996)[1]. He came through the under-12 side that won the county title in 1990 (Connacht Tribune, 7 December 1990, p.23)[2]. He was pictured with the under-16 hurlers who won the Galway title in 1995 (Connacht Tribune, 8 December 1995, p.8)[3]. A History of Fohenagh names him, printed as N Devine, on those under-16 and minor sides, and in the 1990 underage team photograph[4].

Midfielders Lawrence Tully and Niall Devine gave a plentiful supply of ball as Ahascragh-Fohenagh beat Abbeyknockmoy 2-15 to 3-6 on Good Friday evening in Ahascragh, and Niall Devine scored a point (Connacht Tribune, 21 April 2006, p.17)[5]. He was named on the 2015 side ahead of a game with Kinvara in Fohenagh (Connacht Tribune, 29 May 2015, p.63)[6].
